A little bit about me and my work...
As a children’s therapist, I provide a safe and supportive environment for children to express feelings, heal from distress, build resilience and thrive amidst adversity. I primarily use Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) – an evidence-based therapeutic modality that helps children speak in their natural language - Play. I partner with parents and caregivers to provide support and build skills that increase attunement and communication to strengthen the relationship.
I am trained in Play Therapy, Filial Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Promoting First Relationships.
I am a Clinical Social Worker with experience in Outreach Family Therapy and School-based Community Mental Health. I graduated from the University of Southern California with my Master of Social Work degree in 2017, and from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with my Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2015. In 2022, I completed my Certificate in Play Therapy from Antioch University, Seattle. Additionally, I have nearly three decades of parenting experience.
